360° view + Car damage

This feature allows you to create an interactive 360° view of a vehicle and accurately identify and document damages. The system supports Exterior, Interior, and Open (doors open) views.

1. Empty State – When No 360° View Is Uploaded

When no video is uploaded, the 360° view area appears empty.

Upload Requirements

To generate a 360° view, the user must upload a video of the corresponding vehicle.

  • Supported formats: MP4, WAV
  • Only one video per view is allowed
    • One video for Exterior view
    • One video for Interior view
    • One video for Open view

Uploading more than one video per view is not supported.

Video Quality Guidelines (Very Important)

High-quality videos significantly improve the accuracy of the 360° rendering and damage detection.

Please follow these rules when capturing the video:

  • Record the video in good lighting conditions:
    • Under well-distributed artificial lighting (no dark areas)
    • Or under natural sunlight
  • Maintain a distance of 2 to 3 meters from the vehicle
  • Keep the same camera height throughout the recording
  • Make a full 360° rotation around the vehicle
  • Move at a steady speed (not too fast, not too slow)
  • Ensure no obstacles block any part of the vehicle
  • The entire vehicle must remain visible at all times

2. Exterior View

2.1 Upload & Processing

When the user uploads a valid exterior video:

  • The 360° view construction process starts automatically
  • Processing may take some time
  • The user will receive a notification once processing is complete

See Section 5 – Understanding Stepper Coloring for processing status details.

2.2 Navigating the 360° View

Once processing is complete, the user can interact with the vehicle:

  • Rotate the view:
    • Move the mouse cursor left or right
    • Or use navigation controls: and
VIEW
104 / 360
  • Zoom in / out using the / buttons
  • Expand the view by clicking

2.3 Adding Damage Markers

Damages can be documented directly on the 360° view.

Steps to Add a Damage:

ClickAdd damage marker
Click on the exact location of the damage on the vehicle
Verify that the marker is placed correctly
Click to open the damage details widget
Provide the following information:

Damaged part:

Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Front Left Door
Front Right Door
Rear Left Door
Rear Right Door
Hood
Damage description
Damage image

Damages are essential for an accurate vehicle price estimation. Ensure that all visible damages are added. Refer to the Car Pricing page for more details.

2.4 Additional Actions

  • Redo the 360° view:
    • Click Delete 360 View
  • Upload a new video and repeat the process
  • Hide damage markers:
    • Click Disable Hotspots to hide all damage points

3. Interior View

The Interior View follows the same workflow as the Exterior View, but applies to the inside of the vehicle.

This includes:

  • Uploading one interior video
  • Processing the 360° interior view
  • Navigating, zooming, and expanding the view
  • Hiding or deleting the 360° view

Ensure the interior video clearly captures:

  • Seats
  • Dashboard
  • Doors
  • Roof area

4. Open View (Doors Open)

The Open View allows a 360° visualization of the vehicle with its doors open.

The workflow is identical to the Exterior View:

  • Upload one open-view video
  • Wait for processing
  • Navigate the 360° view
  • Add damage markers
  • Delete and redo the view if needed

This view is especially useful for detecting damages on:

  • Door edges
  • Hinges
  • Door frames
  • Entry areas

5. Understanding Stepper Coloring

The stepper indicates the status of the 360° view processing using color codes:

  • Green
    • No video uploaded
    • OR processing completed successfully
  • Yellow
    • Processing is in progress
  • Red
    • An error occurred during processing

6. Causes of 360° View Processing Errors

Errors may occur due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • Internet connection issues
    • Ensure a stable and uninterrupted connection
  • Unsupported video format
    • Only MP4 and WAV are supported
