The Insights module provides market intelligence and automotive analytics to help dealers, operators, and decision-makers better understand pricing, demand, sales patterns, and regional market dynamics. Insights support strategic decisions in pricing, stock acquisition, sales operations, marketing targeting, and planning.

1. Geographic Market Insights

At the top of the interface, the system displays the geographic scope of the data being analyzed, for example:

"Insights in France 🇫🇷"

This indicates that the displayed data corresponds to the selected country or region. In multi-country deployments, users may switch between regions depending on permissions and configuration.

2. Key Statistics Overview

The module includes high-level statistical indicators such as:

  • Average used car price
  • Top demanded brands
  • Market trend variations
  • Percentage changes across periods

These metrics offer a snapshot of market health and movement over time.

3. Interactive Market Map

A geographic map displays demand and search activity at a regional level. It may show:

  • regional demand concentration
  • brand distribution
  • consumer search volume
  • regional segmentation

This helps users identify:

  • where demand is strongest
  • where certain brands perform better
  • regional variations in consumer behavior

4. Category Filters

Users can refine their analysis by selecting a specific operational category. Available categories include:

  • All Categories
  • Inventory
  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Operations
  • Customer

Selecting a category updates the insights displayed on the page and filters out data that does not apply to that domain, reducing cognitive load and improving relevance.

5. KPI Filters

In addition to category filtering, users can customize which KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are displayed.

The KPI filter panel allows users to:

  • enable or disable KPIs using toggles
  • search KPIs via a search bar
  • reset KPIs using Select default setting
  • add new KPIs via +Add new KPI

Examples of KPIs include:

  • Average Selling Price
  • Average Days to Sell
  • Average Age of Inventory
  • Total Repair Cost
  • Gross Profit Margin
  • Inventory Turnover Ratio

6. Time Range Selection for KPIs

Users can adjust the period over which KPIs are calculated. Available ranges include:

  • This Week
  • Last Week
  • This Month
  • Last Month

Changing the time range updates all active KPIs and charts accordingly.

This feature is essential for:

  • observing trends
  • identifying anomalies
  • supporting reporting workflows

7. News Feed

A right-hand panel provides access to curated content sorted by categories such as:

  • Recent
  • Trending
  • Most Views

Articles highlight automotive trends, pricing signals, supply changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting the automotive market.

8. Top Cars Listed

The Top Cars Listed section displays the most frequently listed brands or models during the selected period.

This helps users understand:

  • brand competitiveness
  • supply availability
  • market saturation levels

A Useful Links section provides shortcuts to external automotive research and listing platforms such as:

  • Leboncoin
  • La Centrale
  • AutoScout24
  • Auto Plus

These links allow users to conduct additional manual research or cross-validation.
